About The Water Project:
The Water Project is the heart of Captain Mito's Island Adventures, inspired by a real need faced by thousands of families across Haiti and the Dominican Republic. In many communities, people still live with dirt floors, limited resources, and no access to clean drinking water. Every day, countless families must drink contaminated water simply to survive, even though they know it puts their health at risk.
Our mission is to bring hope, dignity, and life-changing support to these communities by providing access to potable water. As we serve, we do it with grateful hearts—glorifying God for all He has done and for the opportunity to help others in His name.
Every excursion with Captain Mito directly fuels this mission. A portion of every adventure goes toward purchasing and distributing ceramic water filters, powerful tools that help transform entire towns. Unlike small, individual-use filters, these ceramic systems serve multiple families at once, providing clean, safe water for whole communities. Through The Water Project, we’re not just exploring islands—we’re bringing clean water, hope, and God’s love to people who need it most.
